the redesign of the railway station neighborhood foresees to reinforce the identity of public space surrounding the station. the refurbishment is part of the large-scale urban project „Pôle Gare“ which is the answer to changes in the station neighborhood. in the southern area the design is characterized by its multifaceted nature by showing a sequence of open spaces in human scales as a counter part to huge and dominant commercial and infrastructural places.
